While the KAPS’ ethos of community, respect, service, empathy, and friendship has made a measurable impact in Wimberley and surrounding communities for years, falling enrollment recently has put KAPS at risk of closing our doors.
When Katherine Anne Porter School alumni learned of the challenges, we rallied and are united in fighting to save our beloved school. Now, eight new Board Members — all former KAPS administrators, teachers, students and parents — join the three remaining community representatives in forming an 11-member Board passionately committed to creating a KAPS renaissance.
To begin this process of revitalization at Katherine Anne Porter School, we must raise $300,000.
